As a Talent Coordinator, you will be the engine room of the recruitment process, ensuring every candidate and stakeholder receives a premium, high-touch experience. You will take full ownership of complex, multi-stage interview scheduling with absolute precision, acting as a proactive partner who anticipates needs before they are even voiced.

Your impact goes beyond logistics; you are a critical enabler in a competitive hiring market. By driving the interview feedback process and maintaining flawless communications, you ensure the hiring journey is seamless and efficient, directly contributing to our ability to attract and secure top talent for Xero.

The team / how they connect

You will join a collaborative Talent Acquisition team that values transparency, diverse perspectives, and building trust through strong relationships. The team works as a coordinated unit, supporting one another to deliver a human and beautiful experience for everyone involved in the hiring lifecycle.

The team is currently working on / Initially, you will focus on

  • Mastering our tech stack, including the Ashby applicant tracking system and Jira for managing stakeholder requests.

  • Auditing and updating core team documentation within Confluence and our internal playbooks to ensure accuracy.

  • Driving improvements in our interview feedback collection rates to meet and exceed service level agreements.

  • Building direct partnerships with hiring managers to resolve complex scheduling challenges and diary conflicts.

Here are some of the things we are looking for

  • You bring prior experience in a coordination role with a solid understanding of how the recruitment lifecycle operates. Experience with Ashby is a plus.

  • An error-free approach to communication is something you pride yourself on, ensuring every interaction reflects a professional and helpful tone.

  • You possess a natural ability to remain calm and professional when managing last-minute changes or high-pressure situations.

  • Your proactive mindset allows you to identify process inefficiencies and suggest ways to make the team more effective.

  • A strong desire to learn the fundamentals of talent acquisition and a commitment to applying feedback will see you thrive here.

Compensation: Depending on skillset and experience the range for this role is $57,000 to $70,000.
