The Talent Operations Partner supports the delivery of effective, consistent, and scalable Talent processes and systems across the talent lifecycle. This role ensures that Talent technology platforms—including the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Learning Management System (LMS), and related tools—operate efficiently and enable strong candidate, employee, and learner experiences. This role focuses on improving how Talent systems and processes are used in practice, with an emphasis on usability, data integrity, and operational consistency. The Talent Operations Partner works closely with Talent and cross-functional teams to translate operational needs into functional workflows, system configurations, and process improvements. In addition, this role supports recruitment marketing and candidate attraction activities by maintaining candidate-facing content, supporting campaign execution, and ensuring Talent platforms reflect a consistent and engaging employer brand. Through a combination of systems support, process enablement, and continuous improvement, this role helps strengthen the overall effectiveness and experience of Talent Operations.

Responsibilities
  • Own delivery of Talent projects and operational workstreams by coordinating requirements, dependencies, and timelines to ensure successful execution.
  • Analyze Talent systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and support implementation of scalable solutions across Talent operations.
  • Drive administration and optimization of Talent systems (ATS, LMS, and related platforms), including system updates, troubleshooting, and workflow improvements.
  • Produce regular reporting and support analysis of key Talent metrics, including operational performance, compliance requirements, and insights to inform decision-making.
  • Contribute to evaluation of Talent and learning initiatives by contributing to measurement, outcome tracking, and interpretation of results.
  • Partner internally and externally to support stakeholders on Talent systems and processes, improving adoption and user experience.
  • Drive continuous improvement of Talent experiences through structured feedback loops, survey data, and cross-functional project delivery.
  • Support execution of recruitment marketing activities through updates to candidate-facing content and system-based campaign support.
  • Create and maintain job aids, guides, and training materials to support Talent teams, hiring managers, and system users.
Qualifications
  • 2+ with a Bachelor’s degree.
  • B.S./B.A. in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience but candidates with proven experience will not be excluded from consideration.
  • 3+ years of experience in Talent Operations or a related field.
  • Experience working with HR technology platforms such as Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Learning Management Systems (LMS), and/or HRIS systems.
  • Strong understanding of Talent processes and ability to support and improve workflows, systems, and operational effectiveness.
  • Experience with data reporting and analysis, including interpreting metrics and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and support process and system improvements in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project coordination and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to create clear documentation and support stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to troubleshoot system or process issues, research solutions, and support resolution independently.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Data literacy skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Smartsheet experience preferred.

Base Pay Information
The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental’s assessment of the candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity. 
Pay Grade 18. $56,900 - $119,200
