About the Role

Location: Remote, United States

Role Type: Contract, Full-Time

Duration: 6 month contract

Reporting to: Senior Manager, Talent Engagement

Compensation: $60,000 to $85,000 per year (annualized; pro-rated for the 6-month term)

CodePath is looking for a Talent Sourcer who is excited about doing high-impact work in an AI-forward recruiting environment. As a member of CodePath's Talent Engagement team, you will build diverse, qualified pipelines across a wide range of functions from software engineering and data science to philanthropy, curriculum, and marketing.

CodePath is an AI-native organization building pathways into tech for the next generation of engineers. We move with the pace and ownership culture of a technical startup, and we use AI, including Claude, as a core part of how we work.

In this role, you'll own top-of-funnel across multiple searches simultaneously. The person who thrives here moves fast, adapts to shifting priorities, and uses every tool available to work at a higher volume and quality than a traditional sourcer.

Key Activities

  • Execute high-volume outbound sourcing across multiple active requisitions simultaneously

  • Build and maintain diverse candidate pipelines using LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, and AI-assisted sourcing workflows

  • Craft personalized outreach messaging that converts passive talent

  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to translate ambiguous role requirements into targeted search strategies

  • Identify and flag process gaps; contribute to sourcing-related employer branding initiatives (up to 1 day/week)

  • Track and report sourcing metrics to demonstrate pipeline health and activity

Qualifications

Key Qualifications

  • 2+ years of sourcing or recruiting experience (agency, in-house, or internship counts)

  • Active, self-directed use of AI tools in sourcing workflows (Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, or similar) — you adopted these on your own, not because someone told you to

  • LinkedIn Recruiter proficiency

  • Strong written communication for candidate outreach

  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity and shifting priorities

  • Genuine connection to CodePath's mission to transform computer science education

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience sourcing for technical or niche roles

  • Gem and Greenhouse experience

  • Experience working in startup or high-growth environments (under 200 people)

  • Ability to pick up technical concepts quickly (GitHub, BigQuery, etc.)

Compensation

CodePath has standardized salaries based on the position’s level, no matter where you live. For this role, we’re hiring for a junior level position at an annual salary of $60,000 to $70,000. Salary is determined based on your relevant experience and skills as evaluated through our interview process.
