Job DescriptionThese positions (both entry-level and experienced-level) have great job growth potential and require working closely with colleagues in a tax team environment. Responsibilities include:
- Preparation of Federal and State Corporate, Partnership, Trust, Estate, and Individual tax returns
- Federal tax research
- Keeping current on new federal and state tax matters
- Coordination with Client Accounting and Assurance department in meeting client needs
- Interaction and Communication with clients, both verbally and in writing, client meetings, and responding to client inquiries, Internal Revenue Service, and state tax notices
- Planning and Projection Services
- Establishment and maintenance of effective working relationships with co-workers and clients
The candidate MUST have:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related area
- 0-2 years of tax experience in a public accounting setting for entry-level position
- 3-5 years of tax experience in a public accounting setting for experienced-level position
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Self-motivation
- Strong computer skills
- Internal drive to meet deadlines and strong work ethic
- Positive and Professional Attitude
