Ladder is looking for a rockstar Team Manager to help drive the quality, consistency, and performance of our coach-led fitness programs (we call them teams) on the Ladder app. Team Managers own the day-to-day systems, insights, and standards that ensure every team delivers an exceptional member experience while driving meaningful business results.

Our Team Managers are the engines behind the success of each Ladder coach — deeply embedded in their programs, trusted partners in strategy and execution, and champions of the member experience. You'll work directly with a cohort of Ladder coaches to make sure their programming is top-tier, their community is engaged, and their performance is moving the needle.

This role will focus on strength programs led by our male coaches. Your teams will include:

  • Team Forged | Corey Perkins
  • Team Vitality | Brian Pruett
  • Team Project Alpha | Sam Tooley
  • Team Crews Control | Andre Crews
  • Team Resilient | Neen Williams
  • Team Maximus | Bobby Maximus

This is a high-impact role at a high-growth startup that’s changing the fitness industry from the inside out. You'll be the go-to operator for multiple coaches — reviewing programming, owning feedback loops, making sense of workout performance and engagement data, and implementing systems that help our teams scale with excellence.

We’re looking for someone who’s hands-on, fitness programming-savvy, and data-driven — someone who can thrive in a fast-moving environment where autonomy is real and outcomes matter. If you are looking for your personal MBA, this is it!

This is a full-time role. Ladder is headquartered in Austin, Texas – we love local, but we’re open to remote if you’re in U.S. time zones. Competitive pay, equity, unlimited PTO, healthcare benefits, and more.

Join our team as we build the future of fitness 🚀🚀🚀

LADDER INTRO

Ladder is the #1 app for strength training — we deliver custom weekly workout plans with in-workout coaching, progress tracking, and tight-knit fitness communities.

The Ladder app launched in 2020 to reinvent strength training for everyday athletes. We’ve scaled fast — thanks to strong retention, smart unit economics, and a product people love.

We’re a lean, high-output team of veteran builders focused on delivering the most impactful products in health and fitness that solve real customer problems.

We’ve intentionally kept our team small, nimble, and talent-dense. That ethos remains core to our culture — but it’s time to bring on a few elite folks to help deliver world class experiences in each of our Ladder teams.

While it’s still Day 1, the Ladder app has been publicly recognized as an Apple Editors' Choice Award winner,  Women’s Health Best Overall Fitness App, and Wall Street Journal Best Fitness App — in addition to holding a 4.9 ⭐ rating across 100K+ App Store reviews.

Ladder is well-funded by tier 1 investors, recently closing a Series B led by Point72, plus a $100M growth capital commitment from General Catalyst.

📊 Insights & Guidance
  • Monitor Ladder team performance using platform metrics, survey data, and member feedback
  • Maintain a deep understanding of your team’s target user and ensure all programming and content aligns with their goals and preferences
  • Meet regularly with coaches to translate data and feedback into clear, actionable guidance that improves team outcomes
🔄 Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and outcomes-driven
  • Strong communication skills
  • Comfort working with data and transforming it into actionable insights
  • Able to independently build and analyze surveys to gather feedback and drive team-level improvements
  • Creative, curious, proactive, and scrappy — you love building
