Job Summary: As a Tech Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of software engineers in designing, developing, testing, and deploying high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver technical solutions that meet business requirements and align with the company's strategic goals. Additionally, you will mentor and coach team members, ensuring their professional growth and fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.

Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

  • Lead a team of software engineers in designing and implementing scalable and robust software solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding and architectural standards.

Project Management:

  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and prioritize tasks.
  • Plan and estimate project timelines and resources.
  • Track and report progress, identify risks, and propose solutions to mitigate them.

Team Development:

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Coach and mentor team members, helping them develop their technical skills and advance their careers.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

Technical Expertise:

  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in software development.
  • Actively participate in technical discussions and decisions.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive resolutions.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate meetings, brainstorming sessions, and technical discussions.
  • Advocate for technical excellence and quality within the team and across the organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Proven experience (X years) as a software engineer with in-depth knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
  • Demonstrated experience (X years) in a technical leadership role, managing a team of software engineers.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design principles, and best practices.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, JIRA).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and adapt to change.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Certifications in relevant technologies or methodologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Scrum Master certification).
