Technical Account Manager at TRACTIAN
The Technical Account Management (TAM) team is made up of industry experts who partner directly with maintenance and operations teams to improve reliability, increase uptime, and maximize ROI. Working alongside reliability engineers, maintenance managers, plant leadership, and operations teams, our TAMs serve as trusted advisors, helping customers optimize maintenance strategies through Condition Monitoring (CBM) and predictive maintenance initiatives. By deepening relationships with industry leaders like Hyundai, Bosch, and Kraft Heinz, we help our Enterprise customers maximize the value of TRACTIAN's solutions driving long-term success, account growth, and measurable business outcomes.

What you'll do
As a Technical Account Manager, you will own strategic customer relationships across manufacturing facilities, helping customers improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and strengthen their maintenance programs. You will be responsible for retaining and growing existing customer accounts while identifying opportunities to expand TRACTIAN's footprint across additional assets, plants, and solutions. Leveraging your industrial expertise, you will guide customers through implementation, adoption, optimization, and executive-level business reviews to deliver measurable operational and financial results.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with maintenance, reliability, engineering, operations, and plant leadership teams to improve asset reliability and maintenance performance.
  • Serve as the technical advisor for Condition Based Maintenance (CBM), Predictive Maintenance, and SmartTrac initiatives, ensuring customers maximize platform adoption and ROI.
  • Lead customer projects, providing on-site support, training, and strategic guidance.
  • Drive customer retention by building trusted relationships while identifying and leading opportunities to expand existing accounts through additional facilities, assets, and solutions.
  • Present maintenance strategies, business outcomes, and ROI recommendations to plant leadership and executive stakeholders, influencing adoption and long-term partnership.
  • Identify opportunities to improve maintenance strategies, reduce unplanned downtime, increase equipment uptime, and expand customer value. 

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, reliability, or plant operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of rotating equipment, maintenance strategies, reliability engineering, and plant operations.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with maintenance, operations, engineering, and plant leadership teams.
  • Proven experience presenting to customers, internal leadership, or executive stakeholders, with strong communication, relationship-building, and account management skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% throughout North America.
  • Valid driver's license with a good standing record.

Bonus Points
  • Maintenance specific experience with usage of CBM and PdM tools
  • Experience in implementing Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
