As a Technical Business Analyst (BA) at Gurobi Optimization, you will be bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, leveraging deep business acumen and technical expertise to design, implement, and support business processes and associated systems. This role involves end-to-end responsibility across the system development lifecycle (SDLC) from requirements gathering through testing and deployment to ensure solutions align with business goals and technical architecture.
What will you be doing?
- Gather, analyze, and document detailed business and functional requirements.
- Conduct fit/gap analyses to align business needs with system capabilities.
- Create and maintain comprehensive process flow diagrams, data models, and use cases.
- Partner with developers and stakeholders to design scalable business solutions.
- Design detailed and thorough test plans for large initiatives.
- Create User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts, coordinate to execute system testing, and validate the results.
- Support quality assurance efforts to ensure alignment with business requirements.
What experience and qualifications should you have?
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information systems, computer science, or a related field.
- 6-8+ years in business applications, business systems analysis, technical business analysis, or systems analysis.
- Experience with the full SDLC lifecycle, from requirements to production support.
- Experience in Salesforce/NetSuite projects is a plus.
- Experience in ASANA is a plus.
What skills and abilities should you have?
- Strong SQL knowledge with the ability to write queries and reports.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
- In-depth understanding of multiple ERP/CRM business applications and their technical architectures.
- Familiarity with system development and project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile etc.).

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated experience creating detailed business process documentation and data flow diagrams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines effectively.
