Callibrity is based in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is full-time and remote based, but must work on U.S. Eastern or Central Time working hours. Will not consider non-US based candidates.

We are currently seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join our team, with a focus on driving technical clarity, process improvement, and collaboration within the Producer domain. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical aptitude with excellent stakeholder communication and the ability to challenge the status quo.

Callibrity Technical Business Analyst:

  • Work directly with key stakeholders at our clients to accomplish shared goals

  • Act as a technical business analyst, not focused on front-end systems but with a deep understanding of data and backend technical processes. 
  • Perform hands-on data analysis, including querying and interpreting complex data using SQL. 
  • Understand and document data flows, and business rules at the data level. 
  • Utilize tools such as Postman to explore and run API payloads.
  • Support QA by analyzing and comparing payloads (payload diffing) and ensuring requirements are testable.
  • Step into a pseudo-Product Owner role when needed, advocating for business priorities and clarifying requirements. 
  • Foster and support a collaborative culture, bringing energy, accountability, and innovation to the team.

Requirements: 

  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong command of SQL and experience working directly with data systems and flows.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Postman for API interaction.
  • Proven experience in documenting business rules at a granular level.
  • Demonstrated ability to support QA teams through requirement validation and data verification.
  • Assertive and proactive communicator — not afraid to challenge norms and propose improvements.
  • Experience collaborating with developers, QA, and external vendors.
  • Ability to quickly understand domain complexity and align efforts to broader business and technical goals.
  • Hybrid Schedule (local to Cincinnati, OH)
