Profile Overview

The ideal writer has a strong technical background (engineering, SATCOM, RF, or similar) and can confidently translate complex systems into compelling marketing content. This writer should be comfortable collaborating with engineers, extracting nuanced information, and producing technically sound thought leadership.

Scope
  • Engagement includes: 100 hour block to be used within 4 months
Responsibilities
  • Write technical marketing content including: Articles and blog posts, monthly newsletters, and thought leadership pieces
  • Explain complex topics such as: AI servers and processing capabilities, component shortages and market implications, and antenna control systems and related math/engineering concepts
  • Collaborate with internal engineers and stakeholders to extract accurate technical insights
  • Translate highly technical information into clear, engaging content without losing accuracy
  • Potential future support: White papers, eBooks, brochures, or user manuals
Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong technical background (preferred areas): SATCOM, RF engineering, software or manufacturing engineering, or high-performance computing / AI infrastructure
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex systems and components
  • Experience writing for technical or engineering audiences
  • Comfortable interviewing SMEs (engineers, sales engineers)
  • Strong analytical thinking; familiarity with mathematical concepts is a plus
  • Bonus: Military or DoD-related experience, procurement, or component-level knowledge
