About Toro TMS 

We are Toro TMS, a growth-stage startup working to build the modern operating system for trucking. Our focus is squarely on building the best-in-class, end-to-end transportation management software (TMS) for bulk commodity haulers. 

The Role

As Technical Implementation Manager, you’ll be the face of Toro during one of the most critical moments in our client journey: going live. You’ll lead the end-to-end deployment of our TMS platform, from initial kick-offs, to remote trainings, to go-lives, ensuring a smooth transition from legacy systems to Toro’s modern, user-friendly solution. This role blends project management, client training, and real-time problem solving all with a people-first mindset.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead end-to-end implementations of Toro’s platform for incoming customers
  • Partner with Sales, Engineering, Product and Operations to translate client goals into actionable rollout plans
  • Configure new customer accounts, migrate data from legacy systems into Toro TMS
  • Deliver remote trainings to dispatchers, drivers, and logistics managers, making tech feel approachable and useful
  • Troubleshoot issues in real time and adapt implementation plans to meet specific needs

What You Bring

  • 2-5 years of experience in a client facing role, warehousing, logistics or field-based SaaS implementation
  • Strong project management and client-facing communication skills
  • Strong technical and data management skills
  • Comfort with dynamic environments and a knack for simplifying complex systems
  • Empathy for frontline users and a bias toward action
