About the role

In this role, you will be part of Virtasant's recruitment team and will screen candidates for technology positions. You will gain exposure to a wide range of technologies such as Python, Typescript, AWS, GCP, Azure, and many more emerging technologies. You will also work closely with the technical team members when it comes to developing interview questions outside of your area of knowledge.

What You’ll Do
  • Conducting technical interviews with pre-screened candidates to assess their skills, qualifications, and experience based on the requirements of the roles at Virtasant’s clients.

  • Collaborating with other members of the recruitment team for building job pipelines and identifying the most effective methods for screening candidates.

  • Participating in in-take calls with Virtasant’s clients for reviewing job descriptions, and discussing and understanding the key technical requirements of the roles.

  • Leading technical conversations with the client if required.

  • Developing interview questions and/or technical challenges to assess candidates' experience according to the requirements.

  • Conducting research to find and develop the right assessment for specific roles.

What We’re Looking For
Must-Have Experience
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in a related technical field from a reputable university with an English curriculum.

  • 2+ years of experience in a technical recruitment position.

  • 2+ years of experience as a software developer with solid technical knowledge in the backend, frontend, database, and cloud technologies.

  • Thorough understanding of software development, technical roles, and technical skills.

  • Thorough understanding of technical interviewing methods and best practices.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Solid experience in using candidate tracking systems, preferably TeamTailor or Greenhouse.

Nice to Haves
  • 2+ years of remote work experience in a multinational company.

  • 2+ years of experience in an outsourcing/out-staffing company with hands-on involvement in the recruitment process.

  • Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills.
