Title: Technical Lead, Digital Generalist

Who We Are Seeking
Left Field Labs is seeking a talented Full Stack Technical Lead to join our Digital Pod. You will work alongside a group of dedicated and multi-disciplined technologists and designers to bring high-quality solutions to the market. We count on our developers to write elegant and well-documented code, with a strict eye towards the separation of concerns and maintainability.
Our developers are creatives, we expect an eye for design, collaboration on interactions, and understanding of overall user experience when building our software. Technical Leads take their development knowledge and apply that to project leadership in the form of estimation, architecture, planning, and coming alongside developers to complete tasks and release projects.
ResponsibilitiesWhat You’ll Need to be Successful
- Advanced Javascript, HTML5, CSS3, Python, Typescript
- Experience with React/Preact, Angular, Vue.js, or similar
- Experience in Python and Node
- Experience with relational and document databases
- Solid understanding of REST architecture and consumption patterns
- Good proficiency collaborating through Git
- At least 6 years experience building web-based applications in production environments
- Experience with direct client interaction
- Experience with technical project leadership, from estimation through deployment
- Experience with cloud functions and hosting - GCP, GAE, Firebase, or AWS
- Ability to architect solutions, notating needs and technology to fill those needs
- A drive to creatively solve technical problems and enable teams in to develop solutions
Bonus Points
- Go and Java experience
- Experience creating or maintaining SaaS projects
- Scrum or Kanban related project leadership experience
- Protobufs, PubSub, or other non-REST communication platforms
- Mentoring and Skill sharing abilities, specifically with more junior to mid-level developers
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $140,000 to $175,000 and applies only to jobs performed in Culver City, California. This range represents the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Please note that we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
