The Technical Marketing team works closely with product teams, sales and marketing to ensure our customers understand the technical details of how our products work. Our goal is to ensure the technical buyer and customer understands how Cloudflare products and solutions work in terms of their business needs. We are highly technical and get to touch every aspect of Cloudflare's technology.

The ideal candidate has a hands on mindset, a get-it-done attitude and is not afraid of challenging the status quo. You should feel comfortable facing a brand new technology and having to read documentation and being hands on with servers, scripts and APIs.

Responsibilities
- Gain experience with all of Cloudflare's amazing technology and work with the people that build it.
- Understand complex technologies and explain them in simple terms and align solutions to customer problems.
- Identify inefficiencies and implement automation to reduce the time it takes for technical sales to learn our solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and objectives, ensuring relevant and impactful content.
- Partner with our Product Management and Special Projects team to improve strategies, products and services.
Skills & Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field.
- Available for a full-time 12-week internship, working from our Austin or San Francisco office 3-5 days a week during the summer (May-Aug).
- Strong communication skills. Ability to explain complex concepts in a manner that's understandable without dumbing down the content.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong understanding of AI technologies such as AI agents, MCP servers and LLMs.
- Proficient in operating systems, networking, Internet technologies (SSL/TLS/HTTP/SSH etc) and ability to write code to solve simple problems.
- Previous experience in technical & product marketing/product management is a plus.
- Excellent written and presentation skills. This role demands someone who is gifted in their ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including executives, product management, sales, and marketing.
- Self-starter who truly enjoys working in a fast-paced, innovative cloud services company.
