Technical Project/Program Manager

The Role

As a player-coach Delivery Project Manager within a technology organization, you will provide both hands on project leadership and strategic guidance to mature BRT’s project management discipline. You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Architecture, and Delivery teams to drive execution of medium to largescale, complex technology projects delivered iteratively.

You will be accountable for coordinated execution, risk and dependency management, scope alignment, and stakeholder engagement across diverse teams. You will drive the creation of Project roadmaps and release plans, lead strategic and tactical planning sessions, and ensure that BRT’s scaled delivery events are productive, transparent, and aligned to strategic outcomes.

As a player-coach, you will also develop the capabilities of other Project Managers, reinforce consistent delivery practices, and help institutionalize project management as a core enabler of BRT’s technology strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery of medium to largescale, cross functional projects across Product and Technology, ensuring predictable, high quality outcomes.

  • Drive project execution strategy; facilitate strategic and tactical planning; and proactively manage cross team risks, dependencies, and impediments.

  • Partner with leadership to shape project roadmaps, objectives, and KPIs, ensuring alignment with business priorities and BRT’s operating model.

  • Ensure effective release planning and coordination, including management of milestones, design planning, execution delivery, and visibility of progress to stakeholders.

  • Facilitate scaled delivery events, ensuring they drive alignment, transparency, and decision making.

  • Serve as a player-coach, supporting skills development, delivery discipline, and continuous improvement for other Project Managers.

  • Promote adoption of consistent practices, tools, and frameworks across teams to strengthen BRT’s delivery capabilities and organizational effectiveness.

  • Surface and communicate project risks, process gaps, and improvement opportunities in partnership with leaders, driving clarity and action.

The Expertise & Skills You Bring

  • 10+ years of Project Management experience leading medium to largescale, complex technology initiatives in a cross team environment.

  • Demonstrated people leadership or coaching experience, including developing talent, elevating delivery practices, or standing up new capabilities.

  • Deep understanding of standard and scaled delivery frameworks (Scrum@Scale, SAFe, LeSS, etc.) and associated practices, tools, and artifacts.

  • Strong understanding of technology delivery workflows, architectural dependencies, and engineering best practices.

  • Experience with resource and financial reporting, including partnering with Finance and other stakeholders to gather, analyze, and integrate data into project reporting, planning, and oversight routines.

  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment without relying on hierarchy.

  • Proven ability to manage risks, dependencies, issues, and scope across diverse Product and Technology teams.

  • Strong grasp of business context, product development, and alignment of delivery outcomes to strategic priorities.

  • Excellence in communication, stakeholder engagement, and facilitation across both strategic and tactical forums.

  • Continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify improvement opportunities and introduce best practices.

  • Proficiency with delivery enabling tools (Jira, Jira Align, Miro, Power BI) and experience driving adoption across technical teams.

  • Highly organized, disciplined, and able to drive clarity and predictability across multiple workstreams.
