Role Description

As a Recruiter, you will own full-cycle recruiting for high-impact roles that directly influence Dropbox’s product innovation, infrastructure, and long-term strategy. Operating with autonomy and strong business judgment, you’ll partner closely with leaders to translate roadmaps into effective hiring strategies, build competitive pipelines across specialized domains, and deliver exceptional hiring outcomes in highly competitive talent markets.

You will drive impact across sourcing strategy, stakeholder advisory, candidate experience, and closing top-tier talent, while leveraging data and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and decision quality. This role offers meaningful exposure to senior leadership along with the opportunity to influence scalable hiring practices in an AI First environment.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with leaders and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop tailored recruiting strategies
  • Own full-cycle recruiting for complex roles (including application review, proactive sourcing, closing process, working cross functionally with compensation, HRBP, and immigration teams, etc.)
  • Build and maintain high-quality talent pipelines using proactive sourcing, referrals, and market intelligence
  • Screen and assess candidates against defined performance outcomes; facilitate structured debrief discussions
  • Lead offer strategy, approvals, negotiation, and proactive closing plans for competitive talent
  • Deliver an exceptional, inclusive candidate experience from first outreach through onboarding partnership
  • Leverage recruiting data, market insights, and AI tools to inform decisions and continuously improve hiring processes
Requirements
  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a strong focus on EPD (Engineering, Product, and Design) hiring in fast-paced or evolving environments
  • Proven track record of proactively building, engaging, and converting high-quality technical talent pipelines in competitive markets using advanced sourcing techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple complex requisitions while influencing stakeholders and driving hiring decisions
  • Strong understanding of technical interview processes, structured assessment methods, and inclusive hiring practices
  • Experience leveraging data, market insights, and AI tools to enhance sourcing strategies, inform decision-making, and improve recruiting efficiency
  • Demonstrated ability to approach recruiting and candidate experience as a product, applying product management principles (e.g., pipeline design, candidate journeys, and prioritization) to optimize hiring outcomes
  • Proficiency in applying design thinking methodologies to understand candidate and hiring manager needs, prototype improvements to recruiting processes, and iterate using data-driven insights to improve experience and conversion rates
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior in-house recruiting experience within a technology or product-driven company
  • Experience hiring for distributed teams
  • Strong data-driven mindset with experience using recruiting metrics to shape hiring strategy and outcomes
Compensation
Canada Pay Range
$112,200$151,800 CAD
