Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive environment, market conditions, and regional strategic goals.
- Plan and prioritize customer and installer visits, establishing a consistent schedule and strategic frequency for calls and meetings.
- Act as the primary field contact for our Key Account Auto Parts sales reps, supporting them with training, product education, and sales enablement.
- Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions, including lunch & learns, installer clinics, webinars, and conference-style presentations.
- Educate customers and partners on all Mevotech product lines, helping drive their success and enhancing their sales effectiveness.
- Analyze customer store sales data to identify fieldwork opportunities and partner with the customer sales team to coordinate and execute targeted field activities and training
- Lead regular store visits, shop calls, booths, and ride-along with account reps to support initiatives.
- Present new product samples and programs with clarity and confidence to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Manage and grow high-potential key accounts by identifying strategic opportunities, deepening customer relationships, and executing tailored business plans to expand market share and drive profitability.
- Represent Mevotech with the highest level of integrity, professionalism, and service, both in the field and with key corporate stakeholders.
- Maintain detailed customer records, training logs, and field activity using Salesforce, MS Office, and other tools.
- Track progress, measure effectiveness, and communicate wins and opportunities to internal teams.
Ideal Qualifications
- 5+ years of sales or technical sales experience in the automotive aftermarket /chassis brands is preferred
- Proven ability to build rapport and influence key decision-makers at all organizational levels.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and public speaking skills.
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Technically inclined and confident presenting to small and large groups with tools like PowerPoint and live demos.
- Proficient in Salesforce, MS Office (Excel, Teams, Outlook), and webinar platforms.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a strong asset.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Sales, or a related technical field is preferred.
- A results-driven individual with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
- Field-based, remote role requiring approximately 70% travel within the territory, typically following a schedule of three (3) weeks on the road and one (1) week working from home or the office. Flexibility may be required to support customer needs and business priorities.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment, managing multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.
