About Solace

Healthcare in the U.S. is fundamentally broken. The system is so complex that 88% of U.S. adults do not have the health literacy necessary to navigate it without help. Solace cuts through the red tape of healthcare by pairing patients with expert advocates and giving them the tools to make better decisions—and get better outcomes.

We're a Series C startup, founded in 2022 and backed by Inspired Capital, Craft Ventures, Torch Capital, Menlo Ventures, Signalfire, and IVP. Our U.S. based team is lean, mission-driven, and growing quickly.

Solace isn't a place to coast. We're here to redefine healthcare—and that demands urgency, precision, and heart. If you're looking to stretch yourself, sharpen your edge, and do the best work of your life alongside a team that cares deeply, you're in the right place. We’re intense, and we like it that way.

About the Role

As a Technical Sourcer at Solace, you will be the engine that powers our engineering hiring. You’ll focus exclusively on sourcing, identifying, and engaging exceptional technical talent across Software Engineering, Data Engineering/Analytics, and Security. You’ll own the top of the funnel—building targeted pipelines, running structured first-round screens, and ensuring hiring managers receive high-quality, well-qualified candidates.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving startup, understands the nuances of technical roles, and loves the hunt: finding the right profiles, crafting compelling outreach, and building long-term relationships with top-tier talent. You will flex across multiple engineering searches with defined headcount targets and play a critical part in helping Solace scale.

What You’ll Do
  • Source, identify, and engage top technical talent across Software Engineering, Data, and Security.

  • Build and maintain strong pipelines for multiple engineering searches with clear headcount targets.

  • Run structured first-round recruiter screens to evaluate motivation, baseline technical fit, and alignment with Solace’s values.

  • Partner closely with hiring managers to deeply understand technical requirements and refine search strategies.

  • Develop creative sourcing approaches using LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Slack communities, technical forums, and nontraditional channels.

  • Maintain clean and organized pipelines in our ATS (Ashby), ensuring timely communication and accurate tracking.

  • Deliver clear, concise candidate summaries and insights to help hiring managers make confident decisions.

  • Continuously experiment with outreach strategies to improve response rates and candidate quality.

  • Build long-term relationships with high-potential candidates for future hiring needs.

What We’re Looking For
  • 2-5 years of technical sourcing or recruiting experience, ideally within a high-growth or early-stage startup.

  • Track record of sourcing strong engineering talent across at least one domain (Software, Data, Security, etc.).

  • Skilled in creative search techniques, Boolean logic, and navigating LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools.

  • Ability to run structured and professional first-round screens with clarity and confidence.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and strong at managing multiple pipelines simultaneously.

  • A proactive, resourceful problem solver who understands urgency and owns outcomes.

  • Curious, collaborative, and excited to partner with hiring managers to deeply understand technical roles.

  • A genuine passion for the craft of sourcing and delivering high-quality talent pipelines.

If you’re a technical sourcer who loves uncovering great talent, thrives in a high-energy environment, and wants to help build the future of healthcare, we’d love to connect.

Applicants must be based in the United States.
