Bridgeway is seeking a motivated Technical Support Analyst to assist in managing and maintaining our software platform and infrastructure. This role is ideal for candidates eager to develop their skills in system administration, network support, and software operations. The successful candidate will provide technical support, ensure system performance and availability, and assist in implementing IT solutions under the guidance of senior administrators. This position reports to the VP, Customer Support.

This is a remote position, with preference given to candidates located on the East Coast.


 Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot software and networking systems, including servers, workstations, and applications.
  • Provide technical support to end-users, resolve software and networking issues, and ensure a high level of customer service.
  • Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting network systems, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Ensure regular backups of critical systems and data and assist in restoring operations as needed.
  • Apply system patches, updates, and upgrades to maintain security and compliance.
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and support activities.
  • Work closely with senior system administrators, Bridgeway staff, and vendors to resolve issues and implement solutions.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and participate in training to enhance system administration skills.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of professional experience in a technical support or system administrator role required.
  • Proficiency in server setup, configuration, scripting, and maintenance (Windows, Linux, and/or Unix environments).
  • Intermediate understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and security practices.
  • Ability to perform system backups, restore operations, and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Experience with cloud environments, Azure preferred.
  • Experience with system monitoring and management tools is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
