Description

MEMX is looking for a Technical Writer to work closely with Product Management and Engineering to write, review, and edit technical requirements and produce end-user specifications, along with other materials. 

This is a 12-month contract position with the possibility of converting to full-time employment based on performance and business needs.

MEMX currently has a U.S. presence in these states: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, & Utah.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and curate both internal and client facing documentation repositories
  • Develop web-based documentation capabilities to allow MEMX clients to view and download online documentation

Requirements

  • Should have a minimum of five (5) years of experience gathering, analyzing, and composing technical documentation
  • Must have the ability to translate technical information into to clear, concise, and readable documentation
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills and be fluent in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language
  • Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, and have strong critical thinking skills
  • Must be proficient using Microsoft Office and Atlassian product suites
  • Needs to have experience using tools to produce and manipulate graphics for technical documentation
  • A background in Finance technology is preferred
  • Needs to possess the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment

Pay Range: $41 - $58 per hour
