Job Description

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a big-picture vision and roadmap that supports the Company’s strategic goals for MSI’s Ally solution, a hosted records management product targeted at the private security market. This individual with validate and develop ideas based on industry experience and contact with customers and stakeholders. You must possess a blend of business and technical skills and enjoy spending time in the market to understand the customers’ needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demo Choreography: Design and execute the "master choreography" for live product demonstrations. You own the technical environment, the script, and the flow of the experience for audiences ranging from executive briefings to 500+ person sales events.
  • Technical Storytelling: Translate complex software and hardware capabilities into a clear, visionary narrative. You will be responsible for defining the "how-to-win" story for our end-to-end security platforms.
  • High-Stakes Presentation: Serve as the lead technical presenter for global trade shows (e.g., ISC West, GSX) and major product launches. You must be able to "command the stage" while managing live, multi-device technical environments.
  • Product Showcase Innovation: Partner with Marketing, Product Management, and Sales Engineering to build innovative, repeatable demo rigs and digital environments that showcase our broad range of security products.
  • Sales Enablement Excellence: Build and deliver the technical toolkits and training that empower our global sales organization to present our products with the same level of polish and precision.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Artistry: A proven track record of building and performing live, hardware-plus-software technical demos. You should have a deep curiosity for how things work and a talent for explaining them simply.
  • Stage Presence: Exceptional presentation skills. You are comfortable leading keynotes and performing under the pressure of a live audience.
  • Production Mindset: You treat a product demo like a production—thinking about timing, camera angles, lighting, and the "user journey" of the person watching the screen.
  • Video Choreography: Proven ability to conceive and direct short, impactful video segments to be integrated into live presentations, including coordinating product managers and other subject matter experts for on-screen appearances.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in Video Security, Access Control, or Enterprise IoT is highly preferred. You understand the mission-critical nature of securing people and places.

Target Base Salary Range: $140,000 - 160,000

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
