About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to provide strategic support, oversight and guidance to the Wells Fargo Credit Card business. The position will partner closely with the Branded Card Business team to assist them in their growth by providing financial leadership and analytical support across financial forecasting, month-end reporting, expense management, Business reviews, financial analysis and evaluations of investment and marketing initiatives. This role will also lead the Finance investment oversight and review process for Card-related business investments.
In this role, you will:
  • Act as a trusted finance partner to Branded Card leaders, helping them make informed business decisions.
  • Produce and explain monthly financial results and forecasts, including revenue, losses, and expenses.
  • Support key Branded Card activities such as investments such as acquisition and portfolio initiatives, project spending, account growth, and overall performance tracking.
  • Create and present financial insights and recommendations for Card and Marketing initiatives to senior management.
  • Work closely with Finance and cross-functional teams (Marketing, Strategy, Operations, Risk) to ensure accurate forecasts, strong investment decisions, and sound financial oversight.
  • Lead, manage, and continuously improve the Finance investment oversight function for business investment activities
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Reporting, or a related field
  • Experience in finance, analytics, and/or financial reporting
  • Prior credit card or consumer lending experience
  • Knowledge of Essbase or similar financial reporting and analysis tools
  • Strong understanding of both the financial and strategic aspects of the business to support growth initiatives
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed organizational environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, as well as PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, and LiveMeeting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior executive-level audiences

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule from our Wilmington, DE, Charlotte, NC and Des Moines, IA locations.
