The Technology Marketing Manager is a senior role responsible for the creation of crisp, clear Nokia positioning on critical technologies such as AI, IP/optical networking, data center networking, mobile and fixed access networking, autonomous networks, and network security, in support of target customer segments’ advanced connectivity needs. These include telecommunication providers, AI and cloud providers and mission critical enterprises. The technology marketing expert must ensuring the positioning on these technologies is communicated effectively to the market and internal stakeholders. The role works closely with business groups, CTO, and sales teams to support the delivery of business objectives, drive technology leadership, and reinforce Nokia’s market positioning across all channels and geographies.

Operating at the intersection of technology, business strategy, and marketing, the ideal candidate brings deep expertise in technology marketing, exceptional strategic thinking, and a proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling, differentiated narratives that resonate with customers, partners, and employees.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver strategic technology positions that articulate Nokia's stance on critical technologies, supporting business growth and market leadership. These may include technologies such as AI, network security, network and services automation, 5G, 6G, fixed broadband, IP and optical transport networks, data center networks, network monetization etc. Primarily target customer segments include telecommunication providers, AI and cloud providers and mission critical enterprises.

  • Lead the creation of clear, compelling messaging and content that differentiates Nokia's technology portfolio in the market.
  • Collaborate with business groups, product management, CTO, and sales teams to ensure technology marketing strategies support business objectives and sales enablement.
  • Serve as the primary architect for technology positioning, ensuring consistency and clarity across all communications and marketing channels.
  • Monitor technology trends, competitor positioning, and market developments to inform Nokia's marketing strategy, positioning and messaging.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, external agencies, and technology partners.

Qualifications

You have:

  • Vast experience in technology marketing or product marketing within a global technology company.
  • Expertise in one or more key technology areas including AI, IP and optical transport networks, data center networks, 5G, 6G, fixed broadband, network security, network and services automation etc.
  • Solid understanding of one of more customer segments including telecommunication providers, AI and cloud providers and mission-critical enterprises including energy, transportation, public sector and defense verticals.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing technology positioning that drive business results.
  • Experience in translating complex technical concepts into clear, differentiated market positions.
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to align technology marketing with business strategy.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Experience in telecommunications, technology infrastructure, or B2B technology sectors.
  • Multilingual capabilities and experience working across multiple geographies and cultures. Strong network within technology industry and marketing professionals.
