Description
The Tent Associate is responsible for supporting daily tent operations within the EventWorks full-service event rental environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring all tenting equipment is properly cleaned, maintained, quality checked, and prepared for future events. The Tent Associate helps uphold company standards by ensuring tent inventory is safe, functional, and presentation-ready.
This position requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a physically demanding warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Inspect tenting equipment for damage, wear, and cleanliness upon return from events
- Clean tents and related components using appropriate washing procedures and equipment
- Operate drying systems and ensure tents are fully dried to prevent mildew or damage
- Fold, organize, and store tent materials according to company standards
- Perform quality control checks to ensure all equipment meets safety and presentation expectations
- Identify and report repair needs or damaged equipment to leadership
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tent washing and storage areas
- Assist with inventory counts and tracking as needed
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and equipment
- Support other warehouse departments as needed based on business demands

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (50+ lbs)
- Frequent standing, bending, pulling, and lifting
- Ability to work in varying warehouse conditions (heat, cold, humidity, wet environments)
- Comfortable working with large equipment and materials
Work Environment
- Warehouse setting with exposure to moisture, cleaning agents, and outdoor elements
- Fast-paced environment with seasonal volume fluctuations
- May require extended hours during peak event seasons
