About the role

As an Operations Analyst you will support the transition of our clients’ 401(k) plans to new recordkeepers or closing out accounts. You will ensure the accurate and timely execution of all business tasks during the transition. You will partner with other key teams in the organization to obtain the clients needs and requests during the transition. You will communicate the issues and the ways to correct them. Additionally, supporting the transactional needs of our clients.

What you get to do every day

  • Manage an individual caseload of terminating and deconverting plans in SalesForce and Jira
  • Create and monitor ticketing activity between multiple operational teams, ensuring SLAs are met
  • Deliver best-in-class client experience through regular interactions with plan sponsors and recordkeepers
  • Ensuring all documentation related to plan termination/deconversion is in good order, verifying last payroll and blackout dates
  • Partnering with internal teams to complete the full client account closure
  • Configure a variety of termination activities across multiple HI systems
  • Reconciliation activities to capture cash/fund imbalances
  • Financial transaction activity including plan liquidation, cash movements, processing dividends and quality review of team transactions
  • Plan audit activities, including validation of payroll processing up to and not beyond agreed upon dates, ensuring transactions are accurate up to termination/liquidation date
  • Preparing reports for the new recordkeeper within Snowflake and HEX
  • Researching ROTH Basis amounts and updating accordingly
  • Researching and answering follow up questions from the plan sponsor and/or new recordkeeper
  • Conduct root cause analysis to provide suggestions on how to reduce churn
  • This position's duties and assignments are subject to modification based on organizational needs.

Compensation - At Human Interest, there are a number of factors that are used to determine the appropriate pay range for each position. We take into account the cost of labor for each position in various markets across the U.S. The base salary for this position spans $62,100 - $73,000 annually and represents the minimum in our lowest geographic region to a maximum in our highest geographic region. The salary we offer to a new employee within this range is based on their location within the U.S., their relevant job-related skills, and experience. At Human Interest, base salary is one component of the overall total rewards package. Depending on the position, additional compensation components such as bonuses, commissions, and equity may be offered.
