The Test Manager designs and executes comprehensive testing processes, manages testing events, oversees engineering activities, ensures effective schedule and resource allocation, and maintains quality assurance for large-scale systems integration.

Certifications: Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification.
Required Education: HS Diploma/GED
Required Experience: Seven (7)+ years of experience in supporting Information Technology as a Test Manager, Test Lead, User Experience (UX) Manager or User Experience (UX) Lead.
Position Description:
PingWind is seeking a Test Manager who designs and executes testing with an understanding of both theories and principles associated with the systems, components, and products being tested. May manage test events. Excludes paraprofessional positions.
Primary Responsibilities:
Typical Responsibilities/Tasks:
• Administers testing events (environmental, operational, or performance) in accordance with the clients/organizations processes and procedures.
• Testing includes software, aeronautical, electrical, mechanical, electro-mechanical, general industrial, experimental, automotive equipment, industrial machinery and equipment, controls, and systems, and other products and systems.
• Received directions from the senior team members and provides the data and results of test events.
• Signs and directs engineering and technical personnel in the design, and fabrication of testing for the system and subsystem components.
• Potentially we will manage the test-control apparatus and equipment used to support the test events. Collect data from the test event and finalize the test report.
• Supervises employees engaged in test engineering activities.
• Oversee activities related to test engineering including staffing, scheduling, coordinating, and planning.
• Aids in planning and establishing engineering schedules and following up performance against estimates.
• Experience with management, leadership, coordination, and customer contact, ensuring all testing aspects before each release are meet for the on-going operation of a large-scale highly available system that is integrated with business-critical systems contemplated in this PWS.
• Strong technical understanding of managing testing activities for Information Technology, Identity and Access Management, and AWS GovCloud systems and services for the areas of work contemplated in the PWS.
• Responsible for the overall testing, ensuring successful outcomes for each release are fit for use by the end-user.
• Expert knowledge of recent technological advances in computer science and engineering.
• Demonstrated experience in executing, monitoring, and managing test plans/projects to be successful and of high-quality completion.
Required Qualifications
