Manage, implement, and support Azure cloud infrastructure using IaC and DevOps best practices. Automate provisioning and configuration with Terraform, Ansible, Python and Azure CLI. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, enforce security and threat protection, and troubleshoot cloud and network infrastructure issues to improve operational efficiency.
Description:
The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will manage, implement and support the Azure Cloud Infrastructure. This role involves implementing efficient engineering and operational processes, as well as establishing best practices to continuously enhance operational efficiency within and across teams. Excellent working knowledge and experience on Azure Cloud Infrastructure, including Infrastructure as a Code and DevOps.
Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of Azure services, including Azure Networking, Storage, Firewall, Compute, Function, Backup and Azure DevOps
- Automating routine tasks using Ansible, Python, Terraform and Azure CLI for enhanced efficiency
- Minimum 4 years of specialized experience DEVOPS engineer role with full automation using Ansible .
- Minimum 2 years of Azure Infrastructure automation with Terraform.
- Must have experience working with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management, respectively.
- Experience configuring and managing CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, etc. for enterprise-level deployments.
- Strong familiarity and comfort working with version-control systems, such as Gitlab
- Configuration-level knowledge for Linux sysadmin with RHEL.
- Ability to implement security measures for Azure-based applications and infrastructure
- Stay up to date on industry trends and advancements in automation tools to continuously improve processes
- Threat protection, maintain and improve the security posture of the Azure infrastructure, identifying, and remediating vulnerabilities
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and at least three of experience in an automation-engineering role
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, related to cloud and network infrastructure
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working-level experience in Azure Cloud (Azure/Azure GOV Cloud)
- Advanced experience in large scale cloud architecture, design, and integration with a focus on automation, networking and NextGen Firewall
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Python
- Linux OS
- Proficiency in multi-cloud environments, especially in AWS, is highly desirable.
- A master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
