Vividly is the leading modern trade promotion management (TPM) solution built by and for the consumer packaged goods industry. From campaign creation to deductions management and promotion measurement, we help brands manage every element of trade spend. With our easy-to-use platform and industry-leading experience, we pride ourselves on our ability to bring businesses to the next level.

Not familiar with trade promotion spend?  That’s OK.  Most people aren’t.  It’s an $8 trillion dollar problem that is ripe for disruption by an innovative SaaS startup.  In order to grow, consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands spend 20% of their topline revenue to get into retailers and promote their products within those retailers.  The problem is that today 70% of those promotions are not ROI positive. This is because ROI is hard to track.  The industry operates on emails, pdfs, and xls spreadsheets. At Vividly, we’re solving this massive problem with exciting tactics including AI, Machine Learning, and Fintech and adding value to everyone in the chain. Some of our customers include brands you may use and love - Liquid Death, Amy’s, and Laird Superfoods.

About the Role

We are seeking a Training & Education Specialist who will be responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously improving training programs for both customers and internal teams. This role sits at the intersection of customer enablement, internal education, and AI-enhanced learning design.

You’ll create engaging, scalable training experiences that accelerate client adoption of the Vividly platform and empower internal team members to perform at their best. Leveraging modern tools—including AI-powered content creation and automation—you’ll build a learning function that is both innovative and impactful.

What you'll do

Customer-Facing Training

  • Design, create, and deliver virtual training curricula for new & existing clients; occasional onsite engagements may be required.
  • Hold regular onboarding training sessions (daily/weekly) for new and existing clients.
  • Host office hours for new clients to provide guidance and answer questions on the Vividly platform.

Internal Education

  • Conduct training for new team member onboarding, ongoing professional skill development, and rollout of new products and services.
  • Lead department-wide educational meetings and workshops.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality training videos for internal education and product/process updates.

Content & Resource Development

  • Build training resources such as one-pagers, job aids, e-learning paths, and presentation decks.
  • Produce engaging video content, guides, and documentation to support ongoing education.
  • Create documentation and how-to videos that can be integrated into AI-powered internal and customer-facing bots.
  • Leverage AI tools and automation to build scalable self-serve resources and training content.
  • Ensure documentation is prepared and published to the knowledge base in support of new product releases. The release notes will require collaboration with Product and Marketing to ensure accuracy.

Program Design & Improvement

  • Assess training needs across both customer and CX teams; design content that closes skill gaps.
  • Monitor training effectiveness, collect feedback, and continuously refine delivery methods.
  • Stay current on adult learning best practices, instructional design techniques, and emerging training technologies.
Qualifications

A successful candidate will have

  • 3+ years of experience in training, instructional design, customer education, or a related role.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills, both virtual and in-person.
  • Experience developing training programs and delivering customer-facing education on complex software platforms.
  • Strong content creation skills (videos, e-learning, presentations).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work cross-functionally with CX, Product, and Engineering teams.

Bonus Points

  • Background in CPG trade spend or CPG accounting (ideal but not required).
  • Familiarity with leveraging AI tools for content creation, automation, or knowledge base development.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and authoring tools.
  • Ability to translate technical workflows into clear, accessible learning content.
Success in this Role Means
  • New & existing clients achieve rapid onboarding and adoption of the Vividly platform.
  • CX team members have consistent access to high-quality, up-to-date training materials.
  • Training programs are engaging, scalable, and increasingly automated.
  • AI-powered tools and content drive self-service and efficiency for both customers and internal teams.
