  • Public Safety Experience: A strong background in Public Safety Training is required to understand the unique needs and language of our partner agencies.

  • Aviation Knowledge: An aviation background is preferred to assist in the technical and regulatory aspects of drone operations.

  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to master and teach complex software and hardware ecosystems, specifically Aerodome and Flock Safety Integrations.

  • Presentation Skills: Exceptional ability to present to diverse audiences, from command staff to patrol officers, in both remote and onsite environments.

  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel onsite to partner agencies as required.

  • Active FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification or the ability to secure certification within the first 30 days of employment.

  • Bonus Points if you have familiarity with the FAA waiver process!

90 Days at Flock

  • Shadowing: Shadow experienced instructors during remote and onsite training sessions to understand the flow and curriculum.

  • Product Mastery: Begin hands-on training with Aerodome software and hardware to establish a baseline of technical proficiency.

The First 60 Days

  • Co-Facilitation: Co-lead training segments for partner agencies with a mentor instructor.

  • Certification: Achieve internal certification on all Flock Safety Integrations and Aerodome hardware operating procedures.

  • Content Contribution: Review current training materials and provide feedback based on your public safety training background.

90 Days & Beyond

  • Lead Instructor: Independently lead onsite and remote training sessions for new and existing partner agencies.

  • Curriculum Development: Assist in creating new training modules as software updates and new hardware are released.

  • Subject Matter Expert: Serve as a primary resource for customer questions regarding operational usage of the Aerodome platform.
