We are looking for a talented individual…

To join our team as a Treasury Accountant Austin, TX or remote. This position will report to the Treasury Manager and will be responsible for daily bank activity coding and recording to the general ledger, daily bank accounts reconciliations, merchant settlements reconciliation, month-end close, journal entries, escheatment, and audit support. Our ideal team-member will have a strong work ethic, demonstrated knowledge of cash accounting and operational accounting functions, be detail-oriented and have excellent inter-personal communication skills. Intermediate level Excel is a must. Experience with bank portals, payment applications and merchant settlements are required.

For this opportunity, you’re a great fit if you can…

• Code and record bank activity to the ledger, transfer funds and reconcile bank accounts daily.
• Apply customer payments and resolve unapplied payments timely.
• Match merchant settlements to reports, upload details to ERP.
• Assist with month-end close.
• Prepare, process and record journal entries related to cash and incentives including supporting documentation.
• Provide support to internal and external audits.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and provide support to special projects as assigned by management.

In this exciting career opportunity, you will have…

• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 4+ year of relevant experience as a cash or treasury accountant is required.
• Proficiency in daily bank account reconciliations and payment applications.
• Experience with accounting systems, especially WorkDay, is desirable.
• Excellent time management skills – a strong, self-starter with an ability to effectively manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. 
• Strong MS Excel skills – proficient in VLOOKUPS, TEXT functions, Pivot tables, data import/export.
• Positive Attitude and Supportive Team member – ability to work individually and within a team and remain positive, productive, and flexible during peak and high-pressure periods.
• Excellent inter-personal and communication skills – ability to listen to others, communicate professionally with all levels of the organization, and willingness to work through organizational change and growth.

Target Compensation Range:

$60,000 - 70,000 / year USD

DOT Requirements
