Job Summary
The Treasury Management Officer plays a critical role in driving new business growth and strengthening existing client relationships. This position requires a proactive, consultative approach to sales and service, ensuring clients receive tailored Treasury Management solutions that align with their financial goals and operational needs.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Treasury Management sales and prospecting strategy, identify client needs and effectively positioning the bank's solutions against competitors.
- Work both independently and collaboratively to strengthen client relationships, generate cross-sell opportunities, and refer clients to additional banking services.
- Manage customer visits by maintaining consistent contact and building relationships that promote client loyalty and satisfaction.
- Review historical ACH, Wire, and Remote Deposit limits for new and existing Treasury Management clients.
- Oversee the fully sales cycle: draft proposals, deliver presentations, manage professional communication, gather implementation requirements, and support onboarding activities.
- Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with Treasury Management clients; ensure solutions continue to meet client needs and partner with Relationship Managers to identify relationship review opportunities.
- Educate clients on key security best practices and promote awareness of fraud-prevention protocols.
- Maintain strong understanding of the competitive Treasury Management landscape and adjust strategies in response to market conditions.
- Collaborate with Treasury Management Officers to support knowledge sharing, stay current on industry developments, and participate in ongoing professional training.
- Attend HTMA events, annual TEXPO conference and participate in other industry related opportunities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/work experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years of demonstrated success in direct sales roles in treasury or cash management capacity.
- Travel to various locations for client meetings and other work-related activities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to detail with high concern for data accuracy.
- Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to convey a positive attitude.
- Analytical skills, problem solving and good time management.
- Cooperation/Teamwork and patience in dealing with customers.
