JOB FUNCTION / SUMMARY:

Responsible for direct sales of new cash management business, expansion of existing business relationships, and the retention of customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contacts prospective customers in order to develop new cash management business.
  • Meets periodically with existing customers to ensure proper servicing of accounts and to expand existing business relationships.
  • Prepares sales presentations, explains services offered, and recommends those services which would be of value to the customer.
  • Ensures proper installation of cash management services.
  • Assists management in developing new services or modifying existing services.
  • Calls on potential or existing customers and introduces customers to other departments when a service can be rendered.
  • Represents bank in civic, community and industry activities as required.
  • Performs all other job related duties/special projects as assigned.
  • Incumbent is required to comply with all applicable federal, state and local banking and industry related laws and regulations including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act.
  • Incumbent is responsible for organizational integrity and business ethics as it relates to this position, and communicating this commitment to any applicable subordinates.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:

  • College degree in Business Administration or equivalent work experience. A degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred
  • 1 year of exposure to cash management sales and services
  • 1 year of business development experience
  • Basic knowledge of cash management sales, services, and regulatory guidelines
  • Knowledge of bank products, services, and operations
  • Knowledge of finance and business principles
  • Understanding of regulatory guidelines
  • Basic knowledge of cash management functions                                   

ESSENTIAL MENTAL & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines
  • Ability to operate a keyboard if required to perform the essential job functions
  • Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions
  • Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions
  • Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 10 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions.  If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department/division an “undue hardship” then the employee must be accommodated; hence omitting lifting/moving/carrying as a physical requirement.
