Role Overview

The UI/UX Designer Intern will be responsible for supporting the design of intuitive, efficient, and accessible user experiences across our product ecosystem. This includes customer-facing e-commerce platforms, internal SaaS tools (WMS, OMS), and interaction interfaces for AI-powered agents such as chatbots and co-pilots.

The role focuses on user-centered design, visual consistency, and usability across complex workflows while collaborating closely with product managers and frontend engineers.

Internship Details
  • Duration: 3 months, with potential extension based on performance

  • Work Mode: Remote

  • Stipend: Unpaid initially; performance-based evaluation in the first quarter may lead to a paid internship extension or full-time opportunity

  • Working Hours: 8 hours per day

Key Responsibilities
  • Design user-centric interfaces for:

    • Customer-facing e-commerce flows (catalog, checkout, accounts)

    • Internal SaaS platforms (WMS, OMS, project management, service desk tools)

    • AI agent interaction surfaces (chatbots, co-pilots)

  • Create and iterate on design artifacts including wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups

  • Support usability research through user interviews, testing sessions, and feedback analysis

  • Assist in maintaining and extending a centralized design system

  • Ensure design consistency across web applications built on React / Next.js

  • Apply accessibility best practices and WCAG guidelines

  • Collaborate with frontend engineers to ensure design feasibility and fidelity

  • Work with product managers to align design outcomes with business goals

Product & Design Focus
  • E-commerce UX: Improving usability and conversion through intuitive design

  • Operational Tools: Designing efficient, data-dense interfaces for internal users

  • AI Interfaces: Creating clear, trustworthy interaction models for AI-driven workflows

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in:

    • UI/UX Design, Product Design, HCI, Graphic Design, or related field

  • Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and visual design

  • Ability to explain and justify design decisions clearly

  • Strong attention to detail and user empathy

Preferred / Design Tools
  • Proficiency with Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD

  • Familiarity with component-based design systems

  • Basic understanding of responsive and mobile-first design

  • Exposure to accessibility standards (WCAG)

  • Interest in designing AI-powered interfaces
