ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create intuitive user experiences by transforming concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
- Facilitate digital product development through research, conception, ideation, prototyping, and supporting user testing of digital product experiences.
- Identify design problems and devise user-centric solutions.
- Present designs to stakeholders and non-technical audiences. Advocate for the user and human-centered design methods among clients and internal teams.
- Collaborate with UX researchers, product leads, engineers, scrum master's and program stakeholders to create and implement a shared product vision.
- Ask intelligent inquiries, take calculated risks, and champion innovative concepts.
- Implement the U.S. Digital Service Playbook and U.S. Web Design Standards' guiding principles.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- At least eight years of experience as a UX designer on product teams in a professional environment
- Experience designing solutions within complex service environments
- Proficient in UX/UI prototyping tools (preferably Figma).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Experience working in agile development environments
- Knowledge of Web Accessibility Standards and (preferably Section 508 experience)
- Ability to work independently and produce excellent results despite technical limitations and time constraints
- A portfolio to showcase a sharp eye for detail, robust design process, and visual aesthetics.
- Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Candidates must have lived in the United States 3 out of the past 5 years
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in government, healthcare and/or insurance domains
- Familiarity with Pega design systems
- Experience with CMS Marketplace eligibility and appeal processing
- Experience with contact center operations
- Experience with case management workflows
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree or Higher
