Key Responsibilities
- Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize design concepts and user flows, ensuring that the design meets user needs and business goals.
- User Research: Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design concepts, ensuring that user needs are met.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to design user-centered solutions that enhance the overall user experience..
- Visual Design: Develop the visual aspects of the website, including color schemes, typography, and layout, to create an aesthetically pleasing and cohesive user interface.
- Interaction Design: Designing interactive elements of the website, such as buttons, forms, and navigation, to enhance user engagement and improve usability.
- Usability Testing: Conducting usability tests to gather feedback on design prototypes and making iterative improvements based on user feedback.
- Responsive Design: Ensuring that the website is responsive and provides a seamless experience across various devices and screen sizes.
- Feedback Incorporation: Iterate designs based on user feedback and analytics to continuously improve the user experience.
- Documentation: Create and maintain design documentation, style guides, and design systems to ensure consistency across all products.
- Stay Current: Keeping abreast of industry trends, tools, and best practices in UI/UX design to continuously improve skills and design quality.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in UI/UX design roles, ideally with a focus on web applications or websites.
- A degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Certifications in UI/UX design or related disciplines can be beneficial.
- Strong portfolio showcasing design projects that highlight your problem-solving skills and creativity in UI/UX design.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar software.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to effectively communicate with developers.
- Experience in conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering user feedback to inform design decisions.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and explain design concepts to various stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A dual Monitor setup is required (at least 8GB of RAM)
- Must have at least 25 MBPS internet speed
