What We're looking for:​

As a Value Engineer, you will use your transportation industry expertise, your laser focus on business value creation, and your executive communications skills to contribute to growing EROAD’s customer base.

About the role:

  • Discover and translate customers’ strategic priorities into applicable EROAD solution areas

  • Develop business cases and choreograph demos, leveraging industry benchmarks and best practices to win new customers

  • Undertake Value Assessments across extended customer stakeholder groups and create a high-impact deliverable you use to communicate the value opportunity and strategic roadmap to C-level executives

  • Lead customer value workshops, including developing the agenda and facilitating bi-directional participation across all stakeholders

  • Develop value propositions, value cases (ROI & TCO analysis), risk management mitigation, project plans, change management, & transformational strategies

  • Support proposal development and proposal presentations

  • Partner with sales to identify revenue opportunities, contribute to industry and account demand generation strategy & execution

  • Evangelize EROAD’s solutions with a business value-orientation

    • At industry conferences and in customer meetings, present and demonstrate EROAD’s solutions

    • Develop and write persuasive EROAD industry thought leadership (white papers, blog posts, slides, etc.)

    • Work with select partners on industry solution completeness

  • Provide timely and insightful input back to other corporate functions, particularly product management, marketing, and engineering

  • Approximately 40% travel so flexibility required

Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of prior consulting experience at a Big 5 firm (Accenture, BearingPoint, Deloitte, PWC/IBM, Capgemini) or a premier strategy consulting firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Booz Allen Hamilton, Monitor, AT Kearney, etc.)

  • 3+ years of industry experience in cold chain and food distribution

  • Experience in preparing and communicating value roadmaps and results to stakeholders and management, both internally and externally.

  • Executive presentation & communication skills

  • Business skills: quantitative analysis, documentation, process reviews, business strategy reviews, executive questioning techniques, facilitation, etc.

  • Self-starter, able to work in a team environment, superb time management & prioritization skills

  • MBA from a top 10 Business School
