ABOUT US

Building the ranking intelligence layer for the internet.

Sequen provides an integrated platform that pairs bleeding-edge frontier ranking models with the infrastructure to run them in production at sub-25ms latency and enterprise scale. The world's largest retailers, marketplaces, and travel platforms use Sequen to rank, recommend, and personalize, with an autonomous research engine that compounds model performance into revenue and margin lift measured in hundreds of millions of dollars per customer.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Partner with the GTM team to build rigorous ROI analyses and quantified business cases that justify investment in Sequen. Develop and own the value models — revenue lift, margin impact, and cost-to-serve — that translate Sequen's ranking performance into P&L outcomes buyers and CFOs believe. Join later-stage pitches as the Ranking Value expert, presenting your analysis directly to economic buyers, procurement, and finance stakeholders. Build reusable frameworks, calculators, and templates that scale value selling across the sales team. Partner with AEs and RVPs to tailor business cases to each customer's business — their surfaces, KPIs, and economics — and arm champions to sell internally. Work with product, data science, and customer teams to ground value models in real deployment results and defensible benchmarks. Help shape Sequen's value methodology and playbook — this function is still being built, and you'll hold the pen.

ABOUT YOU

5+ years of Value Strategy or Value Engineering experience, at a SaaS or AI company (both mandatory). Can build a business case detailed and defensible enough to survive procurement and CFO scrutiny. Fluent in the financial mechanics of how enterprises make money — revenue, margin, cost-to-serve — and can find the opportunity and pain in a customer's numbers. An excellent communicator who can present complex quantitative analysis credibly to C-suite and finance audiences. Comfortable with ambiguity and building frameworks and process where none exists. Thrive in fast-paced, rapidly evolving environments and have ideally worked at an early-stage or hypergrowth company. Bachelor's degree or comparable experience.

Strong Candidates May Also

Have experience at a top-tier consulting firm / GSI (McKinsey, Accenture, BCG, Bain, Deloitte) — a major plus. Have built value models for technical products — infrastructure, ML/AI, or data platforms. Have experience with usage-based, value-based, or lift-share commercial models. Have sold or supported deals into retail, e-commerce, marketplaces, media and entertainment, or travel verticals.

What We Offer

High-impact role at the center of how a hypergrowth AI company proves and sells its value. The opportunity to work on category-defining technology with proven, quantified customer results. Direct partnership with the GTM leadership and founding team. Very competitive base + bonus/commission + meaningful equity.
