Position Summary
The Vendor Management Associate is responsible for managing and overseeing the organization’s relationships with its vendors. This role involves ensuring that the agreements with vendors are beneficial for the company, and the associate is expected to work closely with other members of the organization to ensure that vendors meet or exceed their contractual obligations.What will your job entail?
Job Responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain relationships with key vendors.
• Negotiate contracts to ensure the company’s interests are protected and value is maximized.
• Monitor vendor performance to ensure contractual obligations are met.
• Identify and mitigate potential vendor risks.
• Resolve any issues that may arise between the company and its vendors.
• Develop and implement improvements to vendor management processes.
• Conduct regular vendor evaluations to ensure that they are meeting the company’s standards.
• Prepare and present reports on vendor performance.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure vendor alignment with company objectives.
• Stay informed about market trends and advancements to inform vendor selection and management.
Work Experience and Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, etc. strongly preferred
· Some insurance experience or within a related field having 6 months to a year of experience.
Licenses & Certifications:
· Certification in Supply Chain Management (CSCP) is preferred.

The target salary range for this position is $56,000.00 - $70,000.00 annually.The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
