Preferred Background 

  • Experienced business development professional with 10+ years of working with pharmaceutical and biotech clients. Strong industry client working relationships that translate to access and new/repeat business with marketing/medical affairs. 
  • Business development and relationship management acumen to directly manage Medlive's strategic medical associations, COEs, and advocacy partners across Oncology, Neurology, Rare Disease and CVRM-Primary Care, leveraging partnerships with organizations like NORD, AAFP, and AACI to create industry funding opportunities for provider and patient digital education. 
  • Self-starter and driver who consistently meets or exceeds revenue goals as a result of focused account development and sales efforts, strong understanding of Medlive's products and business model, and by providing a professional level of client service, account management, industry business and digital acumen. 


Key Responsibilities 

  • The primary responsibility is to drive new business and sales across select target accounts in support of Medlive's Digital Solutions HCP and patient digital content enablement platforms including peer to peer online campaigns, national broadcasts and sponsorships for direct to patient-caregiver education.  
  • Actively  manage  strategic medical partner relationships across aligned therapeutic areas to drive industry funding for sponsored or company led education and engagement campaigns 
  • Actively and productively work with Medlive Solutions team and management to support online business, offer ideas to improve current offerings and platforms and potential new areas of revenue growth.  


Qualifications & Experiences: 

  • Minimum education level of a Bachelor's Degree  
  • 10 years' experience in successful medical education, agency, consulting and/or digital business development, marketing, or program development  
  • Therapeutic expertise in a growing area (e.g. oncology, rare disease, neurology, primary care) 
  • Understanding of online media, online learning and technology a plus  
  • Strong organizational, written and verbal skills, along with strong relationship building a must  
  • Proven track record engaging and influencing all level of industry buyer chain, including senior level positions and leadership  
  • Must be able to pursue multiple opportunities simultaneously 

The expected salary range for this position is $150,000–$200,000, determined by relevant experience and prior performance.
