What will you be doing?
Circana seeks a passionate consultant and client advocate with strong analytic skills to advance solutions and insights that best build the client's strategic vision. The candidate will need to collaborate with our client and internal teams to maximize and apply insights gleaned from Circana data including store data analysis, household purchase behavior analysis, surveys, audits, data modeling, in-market testing, and other custom projects.
The VP role will support a long-established client as part of the dynamic, growing Center of Store Food and Beverage practice. The VP will serve as one of the day-to-day Client contacts, advising and supporting all Circana data & insights efforts, and will manage an Analyst. Partnering with the Client Service team and the rest of the Client Insights team, the VP will ensure that the client secures maximum benefit of subscribed services and leads the client up the insights development curve.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver Insight-Led Solutions: Translate complex data into actionable insights that help clients make informed decisions and achieve measurable outcomes.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with internal teams (e.g., Client Insights, Product, and Analytics) to deliver integrated solutions and ensure client success.
- Maintain Industry Expertise: Stay current on trends in CPG to position Circana as a thought leader and trusted advisor.
- Drive Client Growth: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand client relationships by aligning Circana’s data and software solutions with their strategic goals.
- Build Strategic Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across client organizations, including decision-makers and influencers.
- Utilize Sales Tools and Platforms: Leverage Circana’s proprietary platforms (e.g., Unify+, Liquid Data, Liquid AI) to support client engagement and solutions delivery.
- Champion Client Success: Ensure client satisfaction by proactively addressing challenges, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering consistent value.
- Advanced Analytic & Storytelling Skills: Demonstrated ability to conceive, manage, and deliver fact-based analyses in a story, with a focus on consumer solutions, providing clients with clear, actionable insights to inform strategy.
Requirements
- 10+ years of Circana-oriented CPG syndicated market research experience
- Strong expertise in Point-of-Sale (POS), Consumer Panel, and Syndicated Data
- Experience with syndicated data tools (Circana/NielsenIQ/Numerator, etc.) is required
- Proven ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights for brand and marketing teams
- Strong communication skills, including presenting to senior leadership stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive “go-getter” who is excited to develop their career through effort and positivity
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with Tableau or Power BI is a plus
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority
- Comfort operating with ambiguity and structuring recommendations with limited information
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or related field

This position can be located in the following area(s): Remote, US
The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $175,000 - $185,000 USD. This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
