The Vice President of Sales for North America will lead the sales team, achieve revenue goals, manage high-performance teams, and ensure compliance with sales processes.
What You’ll Do (aka Responsibilities)
- Growing, leading and managing the Azul North America sales team
- Recruiting, hiring and training of sales reps
- Coaching direct reports on strategies that drive results
- Consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Representing and presenting the Azul message at conferences and customer and partner events
- Accurately reporting on sales activity and critical success metrics and forecasting
- Ensuring adoption and compliance with standard sales processes and usage of sales tools and systems
What You’ll Bring (aka Experience, Skills Education)
- 10+ years in a sales vice president, or equivalent role
- A mix of experience selling enterprise software in start-up environments and working for mid-large enterprise software companies
- Proven track record building and managing high-performance sales teams
- Proven track record of driving strong sales results against target plans. Prefer experience overseeing high growth software or software-related services businesses
- Strong sales management fundamentals - understanding sales methodologies, team selling
- Proficient in all aspects of Salesforce.com
- Proficient in tools and techniques for prospecting and funnel building
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and team building skills
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
