Job Summary:
The Vice President of Inside Sales is a high-impact leadership role responsible for architecting and scaling North’s inside sales organization. This role focuses on driving new business acquisition within the Small and Medium-sized Business Market and expanding revenue through a high-velocity, data-driven sales model. This role requires a proven leader with exceptional executive presence who has a relentless focus on pipeline generation, conversion metrics, and revenue delivery.
What you'll do:
Define and execute the overarching strategy for the Inside Sales organization to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
Build and optimize a scalable sales process, focusing on lead prioritization, outbound prospecting strategies, and high-conversion sales cycles.
Identify opportunities to penetrate new verticals and optimize the sales motion for SMB, Mid-Market, and emerging Enterprise accounts.
Oversee the implementation and optimization of sales enablement tools to maximize team productivity.
Develop and present data-driven revenue projections and accurate performance forecasts.
Serve on the EPX sales leadership team, contributing expert analysis on market dynamics, competitive standing, and sales obstacles.
Prepare and deliver detailed monthly updates and performance reviews to the North Executive Team, highlighting strategic wins, key operational metrics, risks, and areas for growth.
Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Inside Sales Directors, Supervisors, and Sales Representatives.
Define and enforce rigorous performance standards (e.g., activity metrics, submissions, and approvals) to ensure total alignment with North’s growth objectives.
Partner closely with Marketing, Product, and Sales Enablement to ensure a seamless "lead-to-close" workflow.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement through regular call coaching, script optimization, and advanced negotiation training.
What we need from you:
Bachelor's degree preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 8 years of progressive sales experience with at least 3 years in a leadership/management role.
A proven track record of building and leading high-performing sales organizations.
Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver clear, concise, and compelling presentations to C-level executives.
Strong ability to inspire and influence others, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Strong financial acumen and understanding of partnership P&L.
