This is a remote position.

Our client is looking for a Video Editor to support their content and marketing efforts by transforming long-form coaching call recordings into engaging short-form videos. They operate in the digital coaching and consulting space and have built strong brand visibility over the past few years through consistent, high-quality online content and education-focused initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone who understands how to turn raw conversations into scroll-stopping reels and shorts that feel natural, dynamic, and aligned with modern social media trends.

Responsibilities
  • Edit short-form video content (Reels, Shorts, TikToks) primarily from recorded coaching calls

  • Repurpose long-form video recordings into multiple engaging short clips optimized for social platforms

  • Add captions, light motion graphics, and basic visual enhancements to improve clarity and retention

  • Ensure videos follow social media best practices for pacing, framing, and engagement

  • Organize and deliver edited assets in a timely and structured manner

  • Collaborate asynchronously with the team to align content with brand tone and objectives



Requirements
  • Proven experience editing short-form video content for social media

  • Strong understanding of vertical video formats and platform-specific trends

  • Ability to identify compelling moments within long-form recordings

  • Attention to detail when it comes to timing, captions, and visual flow

  • Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently

Qualifications
