The Opportunity

The Hustle’s editorial voice is already beloved, and their YouTube channel is scaling quickly.

As Video Producer, you’ll develop YouTube-first formats that make business, tech, and culture stories entertaining and accessible, with the same personality and punch that The Hustle is known for. From concept to publish, you’ll own the full production process, ensuring each video reflects The Hustle’s tone: sharp, fun, insightful, and visually engaging.

What You’ll Do
  • Regularly research and pitch compelling and suitable story ideas for YouTube formats that fit the Hustle’s coverage area and appeal to a broad YT audience

  • Drive conceptualization of video packaging (title & thumbnail) that attracts and engages a broad YouTube audience

  • Coordinate pre-production, interviews, and field shoots as needed per story

  • Prepare and present a clear vision for a story in pitch meetings, brainstorms, and storyboard/visual planning calls

  • Manage multiple projects in production simultaneously

What You Bring
  • 5+ years as a video producer, filmmaker, or content creator with a background in business, tech, culture, or news-driven storytelling. A strong storytelling portfolio is required.

  • Experience producing YouTube-optimized editorial or documentary-style content.

  • Ability to make complex or technical topics entertaining, clear, and compelling for broad audiences.

  • Highly proactive and comfortable running an end-to-end production pipeline independently.

  • Strong collaborator with experience working with global teams across brand, creative, and marketing.

  • Deep knowledge of YouTube trends, best practices, and audience engagement strategies.
