Job Description
The Video Producer is responsible for building and owning an agile video production pipeline to drive Brand Growth goals. Highly proactive, this person will produce a steady cadence of long form videos and short form videos for distribution across Youtube, Reels, Instagram, TikTok, and other social channels.
You will proactively seek and plan production, building collaborations across the org to leverage clients and employees in content wherever possible. In addition to managing this process, you will actively make the work as well as direct others.
To succeed in this role, you must have proven abilities to produce and edit highly effective videos for social and web, scope a shoot, and to develop editing talent in others.
You also need to be skilled at driving creative ideation and a sense of urgency while producing high quality content that connects with our consumers and sets our brand apart.
What you'll do:
  • Pipeline Ownership: Build and own the video production pipeline from ideation through delivery. Maintain a rolling production calendar that ensures a consistent output of at least 1-2 long form and 6-8 short form videos per month that leverage a combination of stock, sourced customer videos, and new shoots when required.
  • Hands-on Production: Serve as the primary shooter for all video productions. Lead on-set direction, manage talent (clients and employees), and ensure raw footage meets the quality and narrative standards needed for final delivery.
  • Story Sourcing & Relationship Building: Proactively identify, source, and schedule member and employee stories for production. Build relationships across the organization including with business unit marketing leads, brand and product marketing, performance marketing, and lifecycle marketing, to maintain a steady pipeline of willing participants and compelling narratives.
  • Editing Direction & Talent Development: Direct and develop video editing talent on the team. Provide clear, actionable edit notes and creative feedback that elevates the work and builds the editor's skills over time. Set the quality benchmark through your own direction.
  • Creative Ideation: Drive creative ideation for video content that connects with consumers and differentiates the brand. Bring fresh concepts, formats, and angles to the team without needing to be briefed.
  • Process Design & Efficiency: Build repeatable, efficient production processes that maximize output without sacrificing quality. Document workflows so production can scale as demand increases.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the social strategy and creative teams to ensure video content is aligned with the broader brand growth strategy and content calendar.

Qualifications
What you'll bring:
  • Production Experience: 5+ years of professional video production experience with a portfolio demonstrating high-velocity content for social platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels) and brand storytelling.
  • Shooting Mastery: Expert-level shooting skills across interview setups, on-location capture, and product/lifestyle content. Comfortable operating as a one-person crew when needed.
  • Editing: Demonstrated ability editing and directing editors to provide clear, constructive feedback that improves both the work and the editor's craft.
  • Process Building: Proven track record of building or significantly improving production workflows to evolve from a reactive process to a structured, proactive pipeline.
  • Creative Ideation: Strong creative instincts with the ability to lead collaborative ideations, self-generate original content ideas, identify compelling narratives, and translate ideas into video concepts that perform on social.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and familiarity with After Effects. Skilled with mobile-first editing tools like kapwig, CapCut, Fillmore, as well as AI tools.
  • Modular Production: Experience producing modular content-shooting and planning in a way that allows a single production to be repurposed into multiple channel-specific assets.

Leadership & Collaboration Requirements
  • Cross Creative Leadership: Ability to collaborate with other creative leaders, team members, and other video creators across the org to ensure all video work represents the Brand consistently.
  • Relationship Building: Comfortable approaching people, making the ask, and coordinating logistics with team members across the organization.
  • Proactive Execution: A scrappy mindset with a bias toward action and a sense of urgency.
  • Brand Stewardship: Understanding of how to maintain a cohesive brand identity across platforms while adapting tone, pacing, and format to what works on each channel.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in financial services, fintech, or another highly regulated industry.
  • Fluency in workflow platforms, ideally Asana.
  • Strong desire to work in a mission-driven environment where trust and authenticity are highly valued.
