The When We First VIP Matchmaker is an experienced, motivated matchmaking professional comfortable providing exceptional service to high-end clients in a dynamic, team-oriented start-up environment. You will manage a portfolio of high-end matchmaking clients, conducting regular check-ins, coordinating dates, and providing coaching.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain a portfolio of matchmaking clients, conducting weekly check-ins (via phone, text, email, video call, or in-app messaging) and facilitating coaching sessions as needed. Match clients based on compatibility, relationship goals, and preferences.
  • Ensure that client profiles and activity are kept up-to-date and accurate in the CRM.
  • Coordinate dates for clients, making reservations and communicating details to each party.
  • Track date schedules and ensure timely follow-up with clients and matches.
  • Upgrade or renew matchmaking clients as appropriate to meet client's goals and needs.

Other Responsibilities

  • During the launch phase, embrace an all-hands-on-deck approach, assisting with various tasks as needed, including: profile reviews, recruiting matches for clients (both inside and outside the app), and light event planning.
  • Attend launch/recruiting events in your region.

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • At least five years of proven success in matchmaking. 
  • A proven track record of working successfully with high-end clients in the matchmaking industry, including coaching experience. Coaching certification a plus.
  • Strong client service background and ability to create and maintain a positive team environment. 
  • Experience working in both face-to-face and remote environments. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills. 
  • Proficiency with technology, including CRM systems (especially Salesforce), Outlook, and softphone technology, with a willingness to learn new systems. 
  • Ability to multitask and manage client and team relationships in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment. 
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and thorough in documenting interactions. 
  • Demonstrated leadership competency and the ability to continuously improve professional skills through self-education, training, and webinars. 


COMPENSATION

Base salary is commensurate with experience. Total compensation includes base plus incentives/commissions.  
Total comp range: $60k-$100+k
