ABOUT IT Procurement

Global IT Procurement, part of Global MBS IT Power of One Portfolio, manages an annual spend of ~1.3B Euro with a supplier base of about 3,000.  The team has mission of ‘be the trusted advisory team to enable sustainable competitive business solutions and value thru mastery of IT industry and supplier knowledge, total cost of ownership, bold priority, and efficiency.  It operates under ‘Together we Grow Higher’ culture which includes Empower, Empathy, Constructive Challenge, Fulfillment and Have Fun.   

The Contract Manager will partner GDT service line director for actualisations and value delivery post contracting through strong governances, obligations & Risk management

Key Accountabilities:

  • Contract Lifecycle Management

    • Manage end-to-end contract lifecycle, including requirement development, contract drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and renewal.

    • Ensure timely execution of contracts and adherence to contractual obligations.

  • Vendor Governance & Relationship Management

    • Establish and maintain governance frameworks for strategic vendors.

    • Build strong partnerships with vendors to foster collaboration and innovation.

    • Monitor vendor performance against agreed KPIs and SLAs.

  • Obligation & Dispute Management

    • Track and manage contractual obligations to ensure compliance.

    • Lead resolution of disputes and escalations in alignment with legal and business policies.

  • Collaborate on Vendor Strategy with Insights

    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders by generating insights from Vendor performance and contract lifecycle management to define and implement vendor strategies.

    • Identify opportunities for cost optimization, risks to mitigate, and value creation.

  • Reporting & Analytics

    • Provide regular reporting on vendor performance, contract status, and governance metrics.

    • Use data insights to drive continuous improvement in vendor management processes.

Experience Required:

Qualification/experience

  • 3+ years of relevant business experience, with a focus on Contract & Vendor relationship management

  • Ability to translate Portfolio strategy into business outcomes via contract management

  • Expert in structuring contracts and commercial with suppliers, with strong contract skills and knowledge of contracting and negotiation.

  • Understanding of supply market, value chain, and FMCG knowledge. Knowledge of End-User Device Lifecycle Management, AI Productivity Tools and workplace technology.

  • Experience in project management.

 General Skills & Competencies

  • Ability to work under pressure and in a complex global environment

  • Ability to interact with senior stakeholders effectively and efficiently to understand their needs and deliver effective balanced solutions

  • Passion for continuous improvement

  • Fluent in English, strong verbal and written communication skills, including creation and delivery of effective presentations

  • High financial and business acumen
