Job Description

As the leader over ASC Ancillary Operations for Privia Health, the Vice President is responsible for providing operational oversight and relationship management of Ambulatory Surgery Centers for Privia Health. This individual is responsible for the strategic leadership in ASC ancillary growth and success, fostering relationships for new opportunities, physician engagement as well as financial performance and revenue growth. The VP partners with Privia National and Market leadership in support of all related functions in advancing Privia Health’s Ambulatory Surgery Center line of business and strategic goals. This role will also expand responsibilities to include physician practice operations as Privia continues to grow.

  • Development and implementation of short and long-term strategic plans, aligning ASC ancillary services with the overall business objectives and growth strategies.

  • Supporting business development efforts to launch new ASCs, expand services, and explore new partnerships and opportunities for growth.

  • Strategically integrate ASC operations for new and existing business units.

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders, center leadership, internal departments, physicians, and executive leadership to ensure seamless coordination, align objectives and drive organizational goals.

  • Oversee budgets, financial performance, and capital expenses for ancillary services.

  • Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities.

  • Oversee and responsible for the MSO P&L related to ASC ancillary services.

  • Serves as the senior escalation point for the team and Practice Operations.

  • Works closely with Privia Market Leadership, EVPs of Medical Groups, Chief Business Development Officer, Chief Growth Officer, Vice President Marketing, VP Value Based Care, and other key executives to develop, establish, and execute on growth strategies and programs. 

  • Oversee and responsible for aligned physician practice operations and P&L as the scope of this role expands with Privia’s expected growth.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. Healthcare Master’s or MBA highly preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare administration, operational management, specifically within Ambulatory Surgery Centers

  • Business development and growth experience in the ASC space.

  • Strong financial acumen, strategic planning abilities, knowledge of ASC regulatory standards, and excellent communication and team-building skills.

  • Experience working with a team to achieve individual and shared goals. 

  • Quantitatively and financially focused.

  • Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations.

The salary range for this role is $175,000 - $225,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, and pet insurance, 401K, paid time off, and other wellness programs).This role is also eligible for an annual bonus targeted at 25% and restricted stock units. The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.
