Job Description

Pensa works with a range of external customers including consumer packaged goods (CPG) manufacturers, retailers, omnichannel partners, broker/merchandiser groups, and large software providers.   The VP of Channel Sales Partnerships will lead pre-sale activity, as well as the post-sale success of large and strategic enterprise partnerships. A successful candidate for the role of VP of Channel Sales Partnerships will be high energy and driven; they will be relentless in their quest to execute with excellence, expand partnerships and cultivate new partnerships that will be force multipliers for the growth of our business.  The right candidate will thrive on finding the right partnerships, identifying the mutual value, cultivating the relationship, closing the deal, and delivering results that lead to growth.  

Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic channel sales partnerships globally for Pensa and deliver on a multi-year strategic partnership plan.
  • Drive customer and revenue growth via joint go-to-market programs and co-creation of services with partners.
  • Accelerate Pensa’s channel sales programs, sourcing and activating new partners globally.
  • Lead new business creation through partnership innovation.
  • Accelerate growth and customer benefit with post sale program oversight and management.
  • Hands on working and closing of deals brought in through partners as part of the channel sales program.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of partnership sales experience in software/SaaS organizations, including innovative growth partnerships, go-to-market strategies, and co-development of products with strategic partners.
  • Must have demonstrated success creating leads and closed business through partnership channels.  
  • Proven track record of developing and delivering successful, innovative partnerships that translate into new customer acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Proven ability to influence and negotiate at all levels with key enterprise partners to accelerate partnership growth.
  • Possess strong strategic thinking, outstanding business acumen, and operational rigor to solve customer and partner problems at speed and deliver Pensa initiatives at scale.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence and lead across all levels of the organization.
  • Experienced in building a high-performance organization and inspiring, leading, and developing members of the team.
  • Strong bias for action with the ability to balance short and long-term priorities and create a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Domain retail experience
