THE OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a VP, Global Head of Total Rewards to our People Leadership team in US

This role will lead the design and evolution of our global compensation and benefits strategy, providing oversight across compensation, incentives, and benefits. It will play a key role in strengthening our offerings in line with our wellness brand, while enabling expansion into new markets and supporting our journey toward becoming a public company.

YOUR IMPACT
  • Visionary Strategy: Define and lead the multi-year Global Total Rewards vision, ensuring alignment with Wellhub’s long-term business strategy and its evolution toward a public company.
  • Organizational Architecture: Architect scalable global compensation and benefits frameworks that balance rigorous global consistency with the necessary local flexibility as the company gains complexity.
  • Brand & Wellness Integration: Shape the organizational narrative by designing rewards practices that make Wellhub the global benchmark for corporate wellness and employee wellbeing.
  • Executive Advisory: Act as a strategic consultant to senior leaders and the board, providing expert guidance on complex leadership decisions, including organizational design and high-impact talent movements.
  • Cycle Leadership: Direct the execution of the annual global compensation and promotion cycles, utilizing data-driven calibration to reward performance and retain talent.
  • Operational Governance: Directly oversee and execute global compensation operations within a lean team structure, while simultaneously architecting the scalable, global frameworks and decision-making standards required to ensure equity, compliance, and operational efficiency across all regions.
  • Leadership: Lead organizational transformations in the Rewards space, fostering a culture of high performance and embedding adaptability.
  • Serve as a key advisor to the CPO and Board Compensation Committee on executive compensation, equity-based incentives (LTI), company-wide program design, and global governance.
  • Strategic Transparency: Architect the global strategy for Pay Transparency and Equity, ensuring Wellhub meets and exceeds legislative requirements, using fair pay as a talent attraction pillar.
  • Predictive Analytics: Govern the digital transformation of Total Rewards, incorporating AI and analytics to provide the Executive Team with insights on human capital ROI and retention risks.
  • Financial Stewardship: Manage global vendor ecosystems and total rewards spend with a focus on long-term value creation and operational excellence.
  • Live the mission: Inspire and empower others by genuinely caring for your own wellbeing and your colleagues. Bring wellbeing to the forefront of work, and create a supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable taking care of themselves, taking time off, and finding work-life wellness.
WHO YOU ARE
  • Strategic Leadership: 12+ years of experience in Global Total Rewards, with at least 5 years in an executive leadership capacity within a high-growth or public company.
  • Strategic Business Integration: Deeply understand the global business model and financial drivers to architect a multi-year Total Rewards roadmap and design practices that accelerate growth and support the transition to a public company.
  • Board-Level Influence: Proven experience partnering with Chief People Officers and Compensation Committees to design executive compensation and governance frameworks.
  • Analytical Mastery: Capability in using data modeling and AI-driven analytics to provide insights into compensation effectiveness and workforce trends.
  • Global Compliance & Transparency: Knowledge of international labor laws, particularly the EU Pay Transparency Directive and US mandates, with experience implementing compliance frameworks.
  • Change Architecture: Skills in change management—shaping organizational culture, influencing at the C-suite level, and embedding adaptability.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to "translate" complex financial and reward concepts for diverse global audiences and investors.
  • Mission Alignment: Interest in the wellness industry and a commitment to integrating wellbeing into the core of the employee value proposition.

In New York, California, Colorado, Massachusetts, and Washington, the annual base salary range for this role is $270,000 - $330,000. The base salary range for other locations may vary. Actual base salary will be dependent on geographic location, relevant experience, skills, qualifications and/or other job-related factors. In addition to base salary, this role may also be eligible to participate in either our annual bonus plan or a sales incentive plan, and our performance-based stock option program.

PAID TIME OFF: We know how important it is to take time away from work to recharge. Employees receive a minimum of 25 days PTO per year with an additional day for each year of tenure (up to 5) in addition to annual holidays (including an extra holiday on your birthday!) 

PAID PARENTAL LEAVE: Welcoming a new child is one of the most special moments in your life. Take the time to be present and enjoy your growing family. We offer up to 12 weeks 100% paid parental leave to all new parents. For parents giving birth, we offer up to 18 weeks paid leave and a ramp-back period to return part-time while you get settled.
